The Holocaust was the intentional killing of six million Jews and five million non-Jews during the years of 1938-1945. This mass murder remains one of the darkest periods of modern human history. Questions about why the Holocaust happened will most likely never be fully answered. But we continue to learn about this horrific event in time - this all-consuming fire - because we hope to prevent something like this from ever happening again.
